How does therapy work?


What we do in our Dallas individual therapy is work with you to understand what is going on now, identify what is contributing to your unwanted behaviors, and help you change to support your goals. The change we speak of is within you - your thoughts, beliefs, choices, and actions. In our therapy work, we will challenge you and your deeply held beliefs about your own brokenness and limitations. Life presents challenges for all of us. Each person has the potential for a rich, fulfilling life. We all just need some help sometimes. We can help you.

Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and confidential environment for therapy where you can share whatever you need to without the fear of judgment or blame. You no longer need to keep the secret inside you and walk this road alone.
We provide a safe, warm, and comfortable setting and encourage you towards your goals of recovery and healing.
During the initial session, we will evaluate the issues you are facing in your life and begin to develop a plan of action with clear steps for healing.

How do I get started?


Your first step is to call us at (214) 390-5800 or email us to schedule your initial appointment, or you may request an appointment using our convenient online calendar. In individual counseling or therapy, a client meets one-on-one with one of our trained staff members in 50-minute sessions. 

During the initial session, we will evaluate the issues you are facing in your life and begin to develop a plan of action with clear steps for healing. The approach to treatment is individualized for each person based on challenges faced and our specialized training by some of the top educators in the country. We also believe that it is important to utilize our own life experiences and healing in your treatment. 

Our goal is to provide a supportive environment in which our clients are able to work toward their unique goals. We are interested in developing a collaborative relationship with you in which we try to decide together what kind of treatment would be best for you.
