“She could never go back and make some of the details pretty. All she could do was move forward and make the whole beautiful.”
Terri St. Cloud
I work with women, couples, and cycle breakers of all kinds who feel stuck in painful patterns and are ready to shift into something healthier. My clients often carry the weight of shame, a sense that they can’t take up space, or the lingering confusion of never being fully allowed to embody who they are. Many are navigating family-of-origin wounds, relational trauma, or the disorienting moment of asking, “Why do I still feel this way, even after doing so much work?” I also work with boomer parents who want to better understand their adult children and repair painful generational divides.
As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator trained under Dr. Brené Brown’s shame resilience framework, I believe healing begins when we stop running from our stories and start rewriting them with clarity and compassion. I’m also trained in EMDR, Pia Mellody’s Post-Induction Therapy model, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—which means I know how to help you work with the inner chaos instead of just trying to shut it down.
Therapy with me is equal parts depth and direction, safety and challenge. I use a blend of evidence-based approaches and intuitive insight to help you understand how your past shaped you, reclaim your voice, and live with more intention, self-trust, and (gasp!) joy.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Arkansas and a Master’s in Social Work from UT Arlington. Before entering private practice, I worked in crisis lines, psychiatric hospitals, and addiction treatment centers. Those years taught me how resilient people are—even in their darkest moments—and that real change is possible when we finally feel seen and supported.
I’m a Dallas native, a big Enneagram nerd, and a firm believer that we are feeling beings who think—not the other way around.
